Gym Shoes Are Needed!

If you have any gently used, outgrown gym shoes (1) lying around your house now, or (2) if your child's current gym shoes have served their purpose and are no longer needed at the end of the school year, please consider donating them to the Virginia Lake Physical Education Department. This helps to ensure that all students get to participate in gym class. Shoe sizes that would fit the younger students (Kindergarten- 3rd Grade) are needed the most. Shoes can be donated at any time, from now until the end of the school year. Mr. Smart said just to have the students or parents leave the shoes on the steps near the stage area in the gymnasium, and he would organize them. Thank you for your generosity to Virginia Lake. This will help give kids an opportunity to be successful and healthy at school.

School Traffic Flow

Traffic Flow Information!!!! Please make sure that all student drop offs are in the parking lot on Rohlwing Rd or at the drive along Rohlwing Rd. All pickups will be at the doors along Rohlwing Rd, the parking lot will be closed off from 2:50 - 3:15PM.Please remember to form one (1) line in the parking lot when picking children up from school. Please be patient and refrain from creating additional lanes of traffic. Thank you for your attention to this important safety issue!
