Presenting Into The Woods Junior
The VL PTA is pleased to present, Into the Woods Junior, on February 15th - 17th at 7:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room at Virginia Lake School. Into the Woods Junior is based on the Grimm fairytales is a musical comedy that twists familiar fairy tales into a brand new story. Hope to see you there! Kindergarten and new student registration
Kindergarten and new student registration for students entering Community Consolidated School District 15 will be held Wednesday, February 15, from 9:30-11 a.m., 1-3 p.m., and 6-8 p.m. at all District 15 elementary schools. Click here
Tdap booster required for 2012-13 school year
Due to recent whooping cough outbreaks throughout Illinois and neighboring states, beginning with the next school year, a Tdap vaccine will be required for 6th- through 12th-grade students. Click here
D15 FOUNDATION to hold D15 Royale on March 3
Tickets on sale NOW! D15 Royale, the District Fifteen Education Foundation's premier fundraiser of the year, will be held Saturday, March 3, at the Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows. Seating is limited for this formal event, and tickets, which cost $75. Click here

School Traffic Flow
Traffic Flow Information!!!! Please make sure that all student drop offs are in the parking lot on Rohlwing Rd or at the drive along Rohlwing Rd. All pickups will be at the doors along Rohlwing Rd, the parking lot will be closed off from 2:50 - 3:15PM.Please remember to form one (1) line in the parking lot when picking children up from school. Please be patient and refrain from creating additional lanes of traffic. Thank you for your attention to this important safety issue!

Welcome to virginia Lake School! As President and President Elect of the VL PTA, we would like take this opportunity to welcome you to the new school year.
The Virginia Lake PTA provides many services and programs to the school. We organize and run annual events such, as School Ice Cream Social, Book Fair, Fun Fair, Spring Dance, and Field Day. We are responsible for publishing the School Calendar, Phone Directory, PTA website, Newsletter and the Yearbook. We also assist in the building with Vision and Hearing Screening, the Mobile Dentist, in the classroom and in the Resource center.
We are always looking for new faces to become involved in PTA and we welcome you to stop in to see what it is all about. Our PTA meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday each month and begin at 7:00 p.m. To learn a little more about our PTA and the different Programs, click on the link. Programs
